- Hanging Quantity: 12 Baits
- Vertical Hanging Height: 6"
- Horizontal Bar Length: 11 1/4"
- Average Depth: 3 1/4"
- Hanging clearance is measured from bottom curve of the hanging hook (crosslock snap) to the bottom wall of the container. Please measure your swimbaits before assuming they will fit, manufacturers may advertise baits as 6 inches but will actually be slightly longer.
- Example 1: The DRT Tiny Klash is considered 6 inches, but with the tail attached it exceeds 6 inches. They will fit in the Dirty Dozen Bar if they are stored without their tails. As shown in the pictures.
- Example 2: The Huddleston Deluxe 68 Swimbait: The top hook version will fit, the hook eye is located near the eyes of the bait making the bait 6 inches from hook eye to the tip of the tail. On the other hand the weedless version will not fit due to the hook eye being located on the nose of the bait, this makes the bait too long and the tail may drag.
- Hanging hooks are made of reshaped crosslock snaps and are lockable for long term storage or a bumpy day out on the water. For most instances we use them without locking the snap and most baits will stay on without issues.
- Hanging hooks are also pliable and can be reshaped for your custom use. Please do not bent hooks with fingers always use pliers to reshape or manipulate the hooks. CAUTION - HANGING HOOKS CAN BE SHARP JUST LIKE FISHING HOOKS!!!
- Silicon tubing can be moved around to change and customize spacing between baits. All tubing is non-stationary except the 2 on the ends of the hanging bar.
- When hanging swimbaits with hanging trebles (i.e. - wooden swimbaits, jointed swimbaits, glide baits, etc.): the best option is to use hook covers to prevent treble hooks tangling. At minimum alternate the direction of the swimbaits to minimize hooks tangling during storage. Please see product pictures for ideas on the best storage methods depending on the type of swimbaits being stored.
- Vigorous shaking of the container will dislodge or tangle swimbaits.
